ABOUT>
Born and raised in Los Angeles, I learned how to play the guitar when I was a teenager, taking private lessons as well as listening to guitarists I admired and learning some of their lines.
I've been so fortunate to have studied with wonderful teachers, all who have influenced me tremendously: John Harvey, Richard Taesch, Dr. Barry Pohlmann, Jimmy Espinoza of Thee Midniters, and Carl Verheyen of Supertramp.
"L.A. Dreams" is my debut recording, consisting of all original music. I wrote 7 of the tracks and collaborated on 2 others: "Heart Soldiers" with Jennifer Black, and "Savasana" with Carl Verheyen.
One of my goals with my music is to affect you, the listener, in a most positive way. It might energize you, relax you, put you in a contemplative mood, or bring up other feelings inside of you. I just hope you feel GOOD as you're listening.
My other goal with my music is to help make the world a more beautiful place. Artists whom I love and respect, such as Pat Metheny, Shirley Horn, Frank Sinatra, Eric Johnson, Eva Cassidy, Carl Verheyen, Peggy Lee, John Coltrane, Jane Fuller, Larry Carlton, and Lee Ritenour, have made my world more beautiful. I pray I'm able to do this for others too!
Please feel free to contact me and give me any feedback you have about my recording. I assure you I will read it and take it VERY seriously.
Thanks so much!!
